Druga Godba

A borderless music festival

We helped one of the most prominent international music festivals in Central Europe find a way to visually express a critical (and musical) point of view.

OBJECTIVE

Finding a refreshed identity marking Druga Godba’s 38th festival, showcasing a wide range of ethno music, its fusions and reinterpretations, that fits the organisational needs of the small team.

SOLUTION

Using the Business Genome framework, we analysed the team’s core values to create a flexible visual identity system that’s easily implemented across a range of digital and physical touchpoints.

Our programme offers unique insight into the musical traditions and cultures of different peoples and countries. Through music, we bring these cultures closer to our Central European audience, and it is important not to gloss over their highly politicised struggles.

Druga Godba is one of the most prominent international music festivals in Central Europe.️ For more than three decades, its mission has been to rediscover and present lesser-known musical styles and traditions, as well as big names and indigenous music scenes. The team consists of music connoisseurs who aspire to think critically about the (music) world today.

Just as music often comments on social problems in its own witty, optimistic and sharp way, so does the festival's visual identity. We helped Druga Godba encode this message even deeper into its corporate DNA, keeping it in line with the festival's core values.
